Health through Nutrition was created by Linda Fleming, M.S., CNS to educate and counsel individuals about beneficial changes they can make to their diet to help them attain optimal health and weight. Linda has learned first-hand the benefits of an active, balanced lifestyle. She believes in the holistic concept of combining exercise with proper nutrition to attain a higher level of overall function.As a runner for over 30 years and an avid skier and hiker, Linda is well qualified to help others attain their goals.
Over the years, she has built a reputation as a progressive, committed, and enthusiastic clinical nutritionist. A strong background in the medical field, a high level of education in biological sciences and nutrition, and a passion for the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, all contribute to Linda’s ability to support clients as they work to achieve optimal health.
Linda has a Bachelor's degree in Biology as well as Master's degrees in both Medical Biology and Human Nutrition. In addition to maintaining a private practice, she has been an adjunct instructor of biology and nutrition at the undergraduate and graduate level for over 20 years. She is also a member of the advisory board for NutriBase, a leading maker of nutrition software. Linda has lectured extensively and appeared on several television shows to discuss the impact of nutrition on health and well-being. Her work through the years has convinced her that the path to health and vitality is based on proper nutrition and activity.
